MOMO - I’M AVAILABLE

Momo is a senior almost 13 year old cat looking for a quiet laid back home.  She came into our care 2 years ago and has been such a sweet girl once she warmed up to us. We have been in no rush to have her adopted as she’s loved dearly. 

Momo enjoys a quieter home, maybe a single person or retired where there isn’t to much commotion. A home with kids might be to much for her. She has a little arthritis in her back legs and gets upset if they are touched when she doesn’t know you. When she knows you she allows you to touch and will come for cuddles often. Momo loves you when it’s just you two. If other people are around she avoids everyone. She doesn’t hide or anything, she just refuses to socially interact as she’s a diva.  It’s her world and we are just in it. 

Momo needs frequent grooming as her fur Matt’s quiet often which is very common with the breed. She did ok with groomers but her foster did learn how to give her pretty lion cut and she enjoyed that more. She doesn’t bite or scratch she’s just very vocal. She’s not afraid to tell you off when she’s mad. She also responds with meows when you talk to her. She would be a great companion for someone home majority of the time. Once she’s bonded to you she will sleep on a pillow beside you every night. 

Momo becomes very stressed around other cats and hides or stops eating, so she would need A home with no other cats. Dogs don’t bother her if they leave her alone and ignore her. She co exists well with calm laid back dogs. 

Ideally we would love to see her go to a home with no other animals so she can be spoiled and loved the way she deserves.

This beautiful girl we removed from a shelter after someone dumped her. When she was assessed it was found that her private area was burned… Front and back!!! We don’t know exactly who, where, what or why… but we can tell you, she is very loved and kept safe by her amazing foster momma. 

Gucci came overweight and we have been trying to get that down. She’s made small progress but not much since she’s a very lazy cat who would rather watch you do everything then do anything herself lol. (Unless it’s scratching her favourite cardboard nail scratcher)

Gucci is completely healed and ready for her forever family. She will need to continue a strict diet with no treats to help her keep her weight down.  She is a very loving girl who greets her foster mom at the door every day when she comes home from work. She even likes to watch tv with you.  She has to be the only animal, as she is not animal friendly.  Gucci is litter trained and likes a quiet calm house that she can stretch out and be lazy in. She is very low maintenance and clean. 

Gucci is 3.5 years old, spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed and negative for any diseases. 

Mimo has captured the hearts of so many in the short time he has been with us. 

This boy had a set euthanasia appointment as his owners were moving and didn’t want to take him. They felt he was old and had a good life. Mimo is only 9 and didn’t deserve to loose his life over this. Our amazing vet Dr.B helped us convince the owner to surrender Mimo to give him a chance.  

We did a call to get him a placement but one of our amazing cat fosters without hesitation asked to foster him so we kept him in our rescue. 

We did a full health check on Mimo wondering if there was hidden health issues as we couldn’t understand why someone would want to euthanize over moving. His results all came back great except some really rotten teeth so we did a dental and removed all his teeth as none could be saved. Mimo has healed and is doing AMAZING. 

His foster mom reports he is the most affectionate cat she has ever met. Mimo is a very well behaved boy who’s best friend was a dog in his previous home so we know he is great with them. We are unsure about cats as he met one in clinic and wasn’t the nicest. He also just recently had surgery so that wasn’t the best test, but we aren’t fully sure how he is with cats. 

Mimo loves window watching or cuddles. You never have to ask as he will always make his way to wherever you are if he knows he can get some snuggles. He’s so confident with no fear and is affectionate to anyone who will pay attention to him. Help us find this handsome boy the best home ever that will love, protect and keep him safe forever even if they have to move.  This boy is a complete gem that will make a family soo happy.

Miss Mango was a kitty I found running along the highway. When I pulled over to secure her to avoid her from getting hit, she ran to me and immediately wanted affection. 

We reported her to animal services and held her in case someone would claim her. It’s been months and she has never been claimed, and we aren’t to sure if she was dumped. She’s definitely a house cat, and not a stray who was born outside. 

Mango is sooo friendly and loves affection. She can co-exist with other cats but it just takes her time. She’s litter trained and well behaved. This beautiful girl deserves a family of her own.
