Fur Warriors had the honour of going to Guy B Brown Elementary School as a special guest request from Mme Cosentino’s grade 3 class.
These students generously made individual adoption write ups for some of the animals in our rescue, in hopes of helping them get adopted.
Not only are we amazed at this thoughtful gesture, we were blown away by these beautiful drawings and profiles created by these children. Their kindness and curiosity is what makes a difference in this world. It was so refreshing to see their teacher creating this assignment for the children to do. We are strong believers that to have less animal cruelty in the world and more compassion for animals… is by having the younger children properly educated and participating.
Each child got to personally read their adoption profile to us, and we made sure to answer all their questions about the animals in our care, while explaining what their daily routines are like.
It was honestly so refreshing to see such love for animals from the kids, and hear all the great stories they had to tell about their own pets they have at home. Keep up the amazing work you all did amazing. Thank you for all of your support always. It never goes unnoticed. 🫶🏼🐾🐶🐈⬛
