Emmeline really needs a home 🥹👉🏼👈🏼 she has been living at our clinic as her foster home had emergency medical issues arise. 

Our sweet momma has officially completed all of her heartworm injections and will now remain on prevention. We will be providing a full year’s worth, which means we can finally start looking for her forever home.

Emmeline lived her entire life outside, coming to us skin and bones, trying to survive winter while raising her puppies. She wouldn’t have made the negative temperatures this winter in her body condition without intervention.

Emmeline was high risk for treatment, with her high heart-worm load, body condition and age… but she fought through it, and thankfully she made it.

Emma is one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet. She adores people, loves kids, is house trained, and just wants to be loved.

She has yet to be spayed and will be in a few weeks, as we want to give her body the time it deserves to rest and recover after everything it’s been through. With her age and the condition she came in, our veterinarian feels waiting a little longer is in her best interest. Once she’s ready, we will complete her spay.

🍫 Meet Fudge 🍫

Sweet, shy, and just a little bit melty around the edges.

Fudge is one of four dogs who came to us in heartbreaking condition. While his brothers are mini poodles, Fudge has his own unique look. We were told he’s a mini poodle too, but we’re pretty sure he’s from a different litter. What they all share is a sad start to life, likely coming from a puppy mill.

Fudge’s body tells a story of neglect and trauma. His tail is nearly bald, with only minimal hair growing back, as if something happened to it long before he knew safety. And most upsetting of all, his nails had been cut back so far that the tips of his toes were almost missing. Despite it all, he remains gentle, and every day, he shows a little more light.

He’s also navigating some food allergies. We’ve been slowly switching proteins to help find what works best for him, and he’s handling it like a true little warrior.

Fudge is very shy with new people and a flight risk. He needs a patient, secure home where he can build trust on his own terms. But when he does, he’s actually kind of hilarious. His personality is sweet and quirky, and he’ll have you laughing with his little antics once he feels safe.

He absolutely needs other dogs in the home. He lights up around canine companions and finds courage in their presence. He’s also great with cats, making him a perfect fit for a calm, multi-pet household.

Fudge won’t be an instant best friend, but he will be a lifelong one for the person willing to show him that love doesn’t have to hurt. Mature quiet home is best.

Misty was one of the 9 that was removed with Bourban & Milo who we shared previously that are now adopted.

Misty was a tiny puppy when we took her in with a small injury on her face from being bit by another dog when only a few weeks old. 

Misty has been fostered by one of our previous adopters who have been taking excellent care of her. Even the children have been enjoying training Misty and teaching her little tricks. 

Misty is shy with new people and needs a home that will continue training with her, as well as work on confidence building. (especially outside of the home.) Misty doesn’t like change much and would thrive with a good routine and structure in the home. 

Misty is fostered with kids and cats who she gets along with. She could be with other dogs with proper introductions as it’s been a few months since she’s been with them.

Summer has been with us a over 2 years… and she has never once had an application or any interest 💔

Her old owner wanted to use her for breeding, and then dumped her in a shelter because she had some skin issues. The shelter was told she lived majority of her day/life in a crate. 

Summer is an active girl. She loves to play with toys and other male dogs. Summer is very affectionate and listens well.  Her only issue is that she is insecure around new people giving off the impression of 'stranger danger'. For this reason Summer needs to be slowly introduced to all new people, and warms up faster with treat introductions. Once she knows she can trust you, she does a 180 and all she wants is love & kisses! It only takes a few minutes for her to adjust but it's imperative she is never forced to interact with anyone without a proper slow introduction.

She is crate trained and house trained and overall an awesome dog. 

Summer does amazing with big male dogs. She loves to wrestle and plays rough. She wants no trouble but will not back down if challenged. Structure is key with her as she really thrives off of leadership. 

She’s been a great dog to have around and easy to train. Summer would be great with an active family. She is a medium to high energy dog but will instantly calm down for snuggles or quiet time. She has really bloomed for us through play and it’s time for her to find her forever family.

🎀 GEMMA THE GREMLIN NEEDS A HOME 🎀

Her foster home was wanting to keep her, but had some emergency health issues resulting in surgery so she is looking for a forever home.

This tiny warrior survived a backyard breeder nightmare, suffering a broken arm left untreated, while eating poop to stay alive. She is heavy on giving the POS breeder Zero stars, & Would not recommend. 👎🏽 

As soon as she came into our care, we rushed her into emergency surgery to fix her arm, & once she healed, we got her spayed & gave her the ultimate Frenchie upgrade: stenotic nare surgery. She now breathes better, barks louder, and is fully prepared to run your entire household.

Here’s what life with Gemma will look like:

 • You will be told off if your snack delivery is late

 • You will be judged. Constantly.

 • You will be loved hard… but still judged.

 • She will share the bed as she absolutely loves to cuddle, but only after she’s tired from ruling the house. 

• She is full of personality & reality tv directors will try and cast her regularly. She’s already turned down love island 🏝️ she knows her worth 💅🏼 no mommy or mamacita over here 🤭

Gemma is bold, dramatic, energetic, and deeply aware that she is the main character. She needs a home that doesn’t just tolerate her chaos… they live for it. You must love a gremlin in the streets and a snugglebug in the sheets.

She loves kids & wants to be involved in everything they do. She’s great with dogs, but she’s a lot. She has no sense of personal space and needs a dog who can either match her energy or ignore her with grace.

She is not good with cats. She bulldozes them, nips their butts playing really rough. Your cat deserves better.

These two are the beloved babies of Papa Dirk, who came into our care with his pups a few months ago. They were infested with parasites, under-socialized, and in need of a fresh start. Today, they’ve blossomed into incredible young dogs, now they just need a place to call home.

🩵 Duke is the life of the party. Outgoing, affectionate, and always ready to make you smile. This gentle, sensitive boy adores people and loves being part of the action. He’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh with his goofy charm and melts into you when it’s time to relax.

🩷 Daisy is more reserved, but deeply loyal once she bonds. She’s got some strong guardian instincts and needs continued exposure to new people and places to build her confidence. She thrives in a calm, rural setting and is currently loving life on her foster’s country property. With structure and patience, she’ll be an amazing companion for someone who appreciates her watchful nature and sweet spirit.

🌸 Aurora Is Ready For Her Next Chapter 🌸 Looking for a foster-to-adopt. 

 Aurora was our shelter pull that was on the run for over 3 months before she was caught. She was extremely shut down in the shelter and needed someone to give her a chance. 

Aurora has such a kind, gentle heart and just needs someone patient enough to keep letting her bloom. She loves to love and be loved. Shes shy but a real sweetheart. 

She’s been neutral with other dogs and we think she could live happily with them. Right now she eats separately just to set her up for success, and we recommend keeping that routine. She loves food, will do absolutely anything for a treat, and if you’re not watching we are almost certain she will be a counter surfer looking for all the goods. 

A busy household with small kids would be too overwhelming, but older respectful children would be just fine. She walks beautifully, enjoys affection in every form (belly rubs, butt scratches, the works), and melts when she realizes someone loves her. 

Aurora doesn’t need chaos, she needs calm. A home that lets her move at her own pace, gives her structure, and keeps cheering her on as she continues to trust again.

Meet MAYHEM the Malinois with heart. 

This boy no was found by animal control with a female Malinois. The breeder came to collect her and walked away, leaving Mayhem behind like he didn’t matter. The shelter staff thought he was a working breed which he is not. He’s just takes some time to trust anyone. 

Mayhem isn’t disposable. He’s not your average house pet either. He’s a ride-or-die kind of dog. He bonds hard with his person and doesn’t waste time trying to charm strangers. If you’re in his circle, you’re in for life.

He’s spent the last two years in professional training, building trust, mastering structure, and proving just how solid he can be. He’s trained, loyal, and low-drama in the home. But this is not a dog for everyone.

Mayhem is best suited for a calm, experienced home with no kids. He doesn’t want chaos, and he won’t thrive in a household that lacks clear leadership. His biggest challenge is resource guarding his person, which is manageable with structure and respect. He’s very easy to care for, he just needs someone who knows how to set the tone. A strong leader who will stick to his management plane we have put in place.

He’ll come with a free training session with our trainer and continued support. We’re not his breeder dumping him on anyone. We’re setting him up to succeed to have the best life ever.

Last winter, 6-month-old Gator was chained outside in the freezing cold… deaf, tiny, and waiting for us to rescue him. We took him in, thawed him out, and watched him grow into a glorious, unhinged Super Mutt.

THE GATOR EXPERIENCE™:

• He Doesn’t bark (perk!) but he unfortunately will not protect your house from robbers. He will probably show them your secret hidden safe in trades for treats.

• Food motivated enough to join a pyramid scheme if snacks were involved.

Basically, Gator is what happens when you mix a toddler, a linebacker, caffeine, and a giant teddy bear in a blender and hit “random.” He’s a-lot of dog with a lot of personality, but he loves deeply. 

He might be deaf but that doesn’t stop him from loving you loudly. 

Gigi and her brother George came into our care as tiny puppies. They were kept in cages all day living in their own filth. We have work hard with both on exposure and daily life in the home. 

Gigi is very sensitive. She doesn’t do well with change and thrives off of structure and routine. She’s loves to play but prefers but to be with her people or by their feet when inside laying down. She is very affectionate to those she trusts. 

She can do small car rides but after 40 min she gets car sick. She has been getting better as we do little trips to work on exposure. She is still so young and needs a family to continue training and building confidence with her.

George (or Georgie as we call him) is the most sweetest boy who is looking for a forever family. He loves his people with his whole heart and is never too far from your side. He’s a sensitive boy who loves to please and is such a snuggle bug. 

He’s been getting better with his confidence, but is still shy around new people and needs slow introductions. He loves to play but is also down for a great cuddle time. George loves to give kisses if you will let him.

George will need an active family that will mentally and physically exercise/ stimulate him for him to thrive.  He is still a young boy and will need a family to continue training with him.  He is very loyal to those he already knows and is familiar with. He is great with kids 8+ but hasn’t been tested around smaller kids. He has a great personality and will keep you laughing. If you have boots forget about it he will never chew them but will always move them around the house and leave them in odd places. If you clean them up he makes sure to go get them and do it again 🤣

Meet Penn 💜

The one-eyed wonder girl with a heart full of love and a story that deserves a happy ending.

Penn and her sister Teller were found in heartbreaking condition on the streets of Egypt. After a long, difficult road to recovery, the girls arrived in Canada three years ago where they finally found peace and safety.

Penn and Teller were inseparable. But in June 2025, sweet Teller passed away, leaving Penn to navigate the world without her soulmate. Despite the loss, Penn continues to show us what true resilience looks like.

Shortly after arriving, Penn had to have one eye removed due to a severe infection. But don’t let that fool you. She’s still fabulous, still full of life, and still the same sweet, loving girl who melts hearts everywhere she goes.

Penn is smaller than she appears in photos and has a huge heart for everyone she meets. She lives for affection, thrives around people, and would be happiest in a home where she’s cherished like the treasure she is.

Kyzer is one exceptionally handsome boy who is looking for a family of his own. This boy is active and he can play fetch for hours.  Ball is life and he will literally play until your arms fall off… and even if they fell off he would still expect the game to still go on lol. 

Kyzer is house trained and does well when left alone. When you are home he doesn’t leave your side.  Kyzer does well with big dogs with slow proper introduction, and is protective of his people once he bonds with you. He also needs proper introduction with strangers as he is protective of his people. He would be a great candidate for protection training if someone invested into that type of training and time into him. Kyzer would do amazing and excel in dock diving or fly ball for sure if someone invested that time into him. 

If you love the breed, he is a real gem to really appreciate. Breed experience and active home required.
