Our girl Reese is back & looking for the home that’s truly right for her. 🤎

Her family tried, but unfortunately the environment just wasn’t the right fit for Reese. She needs a quieter, less busy home where she can settle in, have structure, & where she can feel secure to be the loyal girl we know she is.

For those who don’t remember Reese’s story, she is one of Candy’s babies. Candy was part of the heartbreaking case of 11 Presa Canarios dumped in a field by a breeder 2 Christmases ago. Right after we pulled Candy from the shelter, she gave birth.

Reese is very true to her breed. She is loyal to her people & protective of her home. She can live with other dogs with proper introductions, but as a true Presa, she is confident & will not back down if challenged. 

She is crate trained & house trained and would do best in a mature, experienced home that isn’t overly busy, where she can have structure, consistency with her people.

Popcorn has come out of her shell SO much & her playful little personality is really starting to shine. She’s happy, silly & finally getting to enjoy life without a painful mouth. ❤️

Before her dental, Popcorn had broken teeth & a gum infection, so we believe she had been living with quite a bit of pain. Because of that, she could be nippy when anyone touched around her face.

Since having her painful teeth removed & her mouth cleaned up, her foster mom says she’s been completely fine with her face being touched. However, we want her future family to know her history because she may need a little time to build that same trust with new people.

Because of this, we think older, respectful kids would be the best fit.

Living without pain is still new for this sweet girl. Now she just needs a family to show her how good life is supposed to be. 🥹🍿❤️

As many of you know, this handsome tank was our 1st intake of 2026.

When Bear landed in our local shelter, our amazing community rallied together to make sure he got the second chance he deserved.

Bear was once a loved family pet who unfortunately ended up as a stray after a difficult separation. The shelter was able to locate his owners, who advised they would be coming to reclaim him, but sadly they never did.

Their loss will absolutely be someone else’s gain. If you love this breed.. he is the real deal. We have been smitten with him, enjoying his time in our rescue.

That means he is a guardian powerbreed. While Bear can be social, affectionate, goofy & loves his people… he is not a Labrador in a Presa suit. He is genetically bred to be alert, protective & aware of his surroundings. He is not made for the average home.

Bear is the perfect mix of guardian & goofball.

One minute he’s standing watch over his kingdom. The next minute he’s blasting around the yard with the zoomies, splashing through sprinklers, playing in water or acting like an oversized puppy.

He forms strong bonds with those he trusts.

Because of his size, strength & breed traits, we are looking for a mature home with no young children. He does not know his size or strength, and is a bull in a china shop when excited.

Wolfie spent her entire life with her parents. When all 3 ended up in a local shelter, we pulled Wolfie & her senior mom Lameese, together. Sadly, her dad passed away from bloat before we got to shelter.

We promised Lameese that she wouldn’t lose everything familiar to her during the final chapter of her life, so we kept Wolfie faithfully by her mom’s side till the end. ❤️

Now, after losing both of her parents within just over a year, Wolfie is on her own for the first time.

And it’s finally her turn. 🥹❤️

Wolfie is technically an older dog…but apparently, nobody has told her. 😂 She has a giant puppy trapped inside her soul.

Wolfie is your typical German Shepherd: loyal, loving, protective of her home, & completely devoted to her humans.

Of course, every dog has a few areas for improvement, & Wolfie is no exception. 😂

💅 Pedicures are offensive.

Wolfie isn’t a fan of having her feet groomed, although she does much better with someone she knows & trusts. She needs a muzzle for feet. Blow dryers are a threat to humanity. 

🐕 Other dogs? No thank you.

Wolfie lived successfully with the dogs she was raised with, but unfamiliar dogs are a different story. She is not reactive, but she is very dominant, pushy, & a HUGE bully. If another dog challenges her, Wolfie is on go. So because of this we want a home with no other dogs.

🐈 CATS: ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Wolfie has prey drive, so cats & small animals are a hard no.

For these reasons, Wolfie MUST be the only animal in the home. She deserves a home where she can relax, thrive, and soak up all the attention for herself.

Meet Socks & Laker, two best friends whose paths crossed through heartbreak, but who found family in each other.

Laker came to us from a local shelter pull after arriving as an unclaimed stray. Socks was 1 of 9 severely emaciated dogs removed from a house.

Although their stories were very different, their futures became the same.

When Socks first arrived, he was terrified of everything. He lacked confidence, had very little exposure to the world, & was scared of his own shadow. Laker, on the other hand, is confident, social, & takes life in stride.

Over the past year, Laker has become Socks’ security blanket, teacher, & best friend. Watching Socks gain confidence simply by having Laker beside him has been incredible. Their bond is beyond special & something we simply cannot imagine breaking.

Socks is wonderful in his home & backyard, where he feels safe. Walks are still a work in progress, & our incredible foster family has been patiently helping him build confidence outside of the home one step at a time. Laker is happy to go anywhere & takes it all in stride.

We are beyond grateful to the amazing foster family who opened their home to both boys, giving them the structure, patience, & love they needed to heal.

Finding a home for a bonded pair during an overpopulation crisis won’t be easy, but we truly believe separating them would do them both a disservice.

• Both boys are dog friendly with proper introductions.

‼️ No cats‼️ 🐿️ Squirrels should also be warned. Neither has successfully caught one, but every day is another dedicated shift on squirrel patrol.

Summer has been with us a over 2 years… and she has never once had an application or any interest 💔

Her old owner wanted to use her for breeding, and then dumped her in a shelter because she had some skin issues. The shelter was told she lived majority of her day/life in a crate. 

Summer is an active girl. She loves to play with toys and other male dogs. Summer is very affectionate and listens well.  Her only issue is that she is insecure around new people giving off the impression of 'stranger danger'. For this reason Summer needs to be slowly introduced to all new people, and warms up faster with treat introductions. Once she knows she can trust you, she does a 180 and all she wants is love & kisses! It only takes a few minutes for her to adjust but it's imperative she is never forced to interact with anyone without a proper slow introduction.

She is crate trained and house trained and overall an awesome dog. 

Summer does amazing with big male dogs. She loves to wrestle and plays rough. She wants no trouble but will not back down if challenged. Structure is key with her as she really thrives off of leadership. 

She’s been a great dog to have around and easy to train. Summer would be great with an active family. She is a medium to high energy dog but will instantly calm down for snuggles or quiet time. She has really bloomed for us through play and it’s time for her to find her forever family.

With structure and patience, she’ll be an amazing companion for someone who appreciates her watchful nature and sweet spirit.

🌸 Aurora Is Ready For Her Next Chapter 🌸 Looking for a foster-to-adopt. 

 Aurora was our shelter pull that was on the run for over 3 months before she was caught. She was extremely shut down in the shelter and needed someone to give her a chance. 

Aurora has such a kind, gentle heart and just needs someone patient enough to keep letting her bloom. She loves to love and be loved. Shes shy but a real sweetheart. 

She’s been neutral with other dogs and we think she could live happily with them. Right now she eats separately just to set her up for success, and we recommend keeping that routine. She loves food, will do absolutely anything for a treat, and if you’re not watching we are almost certain she will be a counter surfer looking for all the goods. 

A busy household with small kids would be too overwhelming, but older respectful children would be just fine. She walks beautifully, enjoys affection in every form (belly rubs, butt scratches, the works), and melts when she realizes someone loves her. 

Aurora doesn’t need chaos, she needs calm. A home that lets her move at her own pace, gives her structure, and keeps cheering her on as she continues to trust again. 

Whoever ends up adopting this girl will not be disappointed. Such a very lovely girl.

Phoenix loves humans, and even loves self entertaining by himself with his toys. This boy is a gem for the big dog breed lovers.  He’s a perfect wing man as he loves the ladies.😏

We pulled Phoenix from a shelter so he wouldn’t be euthanized. He was bought by a man for breeding but then was dumped in shelter as soon as he was full grown because he couldn’t walk him. This boy just needed basic training which he thrived in with our trainers. 

Phoenix is a power house of muscle but the sweetest boy ever. He loves people, and wants to please. He does have prey and toy drive. No little animals, cats or small dogs for this guy. He ignores dogs on walks and looks for no trouble. But he must be the only animal in the home. He has no reaction to humans and is so laid back. 

Phoenix is great with kids, but we would recommend older kids due to his size & strength. 

Pheonix would thrive as the only animal in the home. He loves to please and is great meeting new people. Our trainer worked hard on Phoenix’s leash manners & recall, as Pheonix used to walk his humans as he thought dragging people was an Olympic sport lol.  He has come a very long way since the first day we took him in.
