Moxie was found as a stray and placed at a local shelter. Moxie was very stand off, and was too overwhelming with energy for staff to handle. Fur Warriors took Moxie in and started training with her right away. 

Moxie surprised us all, because she really took to routine and structure, and became a much calmer dog. She just needed someone to give her a chance, and to learn how to be a dog.

Jade was surrendered at a local shelter for being to old. Right after they surrendered her… they tried to apply for a puppy. Jade is in good health and has a wonderful personality. Fur Warriors didn’t hesitate to take this girl in, and give her the chance she deserves. Jade loves people and playing fetch. As long as you will play catch with her she will love you forever. She’s such a great dog.

Rocky was surrendered to a local shelter for growling, and showing teeth at a 4 year old who was to close to his food. Rocky is a tripod that had his back leg amputated as a puppy from an injury. We took Rocky in with open arms as we knew he needed a proper chance. We put Rocky in training, and through our assessments we realized this boy has no mean bone in his body.  Rocky was just in a home that didn’t have structure or boundaries and just needs an environment that will advocate properly for him. Rocky loves people and has the personality of a puppy. He absolutely loves playing fetch and will play for hours with his ball if you let him. Rocky is a real sweet boy.

Nacho was picked up with another dog by animal services and placed in a shelter.  Nacho was picked up regularly for always roaming, and this time his owner said he didn’t want him back.  Nacho came from a place that was an open farm that allowed him to do whatever he wanted. His owner also said he started biting him when he disciplined him. We pulled Nacho from the shelter and put him into a board and train. Nacho is your typical Malinois that needs structure and an experienced handler. He is very confident and will test boundaries.

Montey was seized from a home by police, because of neglect and the condition he was in. Montey lived his whole 14 years neglected and locked up. We have no idea how this boy made it as long as he has, but we knew we had to give him a piece of life worth living.   Montey is very malnourished with every single bone piercing out of his body, and he could hardly walk.  

We only had 42 days with Montey, as his organs were shutting down and his body was to weak.  Montey was very loved in the short time we had him.  His favorite thing was to sunbath by the pond, and to watch the fish swim.  We honored Montey by doing an in-home euthanasia beside the pond while Sunbathing, so he could gain his wings with dignity.  We had Montey cremated and returned to the founder of this rescue, so he can be with a family of his own, being loved and cherished because his life mattered.

 Molly was surrendered due to having heart-worm 🪱 and the owners not being able to afford treatment. 

The shelter advocated for Molly and offered to cover her heart worm treatment if a rescue would take her after treatment was completed, and we agreed.  She had weeks of treatment at the shelter,  then was removed and sent to our trusted trainers Complete K9 Care as she displayed reactivity in the shelter. 

Molly is a shy girl that takes some time to warm up, and will avoid you until she’s comfortable. She is an absolute sweetheart when she trusts you and will shower you will lots of kisses.  Molly has been known by her previous owner to possess the people she loves… so it was important for us to have our trainers work with her on boundaries, placement, recall, reactivity and overall obedience.  

Our trainer said she is one of his favourites who has been to him in a long time. She is a dog that will need a quieter home, and boundaries for when guests come over. Her owner will have to advocate for her so she’s not uncomfortable and continue the training structure we have put in place. Molly bonds best with Males and is not shy of loving her human. Molly no longer has heart worm, but will still continue to be on preventative medication. Which the rescue will provide so we know it’s taken care of. 

Molly would be best in a quieter non busy home with a retired person or someone who lives a quieter lifestyle. She would not do well in an apartment, condo, or city with lots of traffic or commotion. She’s a laid back girl who just wants to be love her family or person. Training is included with her adoption.

Koda was another covid puppy dumped in the shelter with no training. He was pulled out by another local rescue and they returned him back to the shelter because they couldn’t handle him. 

Koda liked to mouth hands and feet and was a big puppy who didn’t know how to play properly. The shelter contacted us to help this boy and we didn’t hesitate. 

Koda didn’t need much just basic obedience and someone to actually take the time to teach him. The first couple of days we had him he was all over the place from having to much pent up energy in the shelter. 

We gave him the exercise and stimulation he needed and he calmed right down. He just needed shepherd experience. A lot of the times when we take shepherds they need a lot of training and bootcamp. This boy has to be the easiest shepherd we have ever had. He loves to please, enjoys other dogs and people, and listens very well. He’s just a puppy trying to figure out the world. 

Koda would be best in a home with another big dog or dogs. He loves to play with other dogs and gets a lot of his energy out through play. He loves water and is super easy to train as he is food motivated. 

Kodas foster started taking him out in public and was blown away how amazing he is. He does great for car rides and loves to greet everyone.  Now typically we don’t allow our dogs to meet everyone and teach them boundaries, but Koda sits patiently waiting and really looks forward to the attention from anyone and everyone he sees. He honestly is an amazing dog and will make a great addition to any home or family. Koda isn’t a high drive shepherd, he just enjoys to play with his people and other dogs. He’s very go with the flow type guy who is easy to handle.

Savanah Banana is the sweetest girl who is ready for her forever family. 

This girl was pulled from a local shelter after they took her in due to her owner not in a position to care for her anymore.  Savanah was a regular at this shelter in and out and the staff loved her. Her owner finally realized she needed more stability and signed her over. 

Savanah is a big fluffy girl who loves all people and kids. She loves snow and will play in it for hours if you play with her. The kids in the foster home have a blast with her out side playing in the snow. 

Savanah is best in a home with no other animals. She is not dog friendly, but will ignore once you correct her. She loves to please and just wants to be with her humans.

Savanah is fully house trained and does great when left alone. She is a total sweetheart. Her fur does matt easily and needs to be brushed frequently.  She does very well with grooming.
